‘Swapping Screen Time for Snuggles’: Gogglebox Star Helena Worthington Quietly Welcomes Her Second Child — and Shares a Glimpse of Life Off Camera

Gogglebox favourite Helena Worthington has revealed she has welcomed her second child, sharing the joyful news with fans in a heartfelt Instagram post.
The artist, 31, took to social media on Thursday to announce the arrival of her newborn daughter, posting a series of tender snaps featuring the baby alongside her six-year-old son, Erwin.
Alongside the photos, Helena wrote:
“Swapping screen time for snuggles (and plenty of nappy changes!) as we welcome our little one to the world.”

She added that she plans to take a step back from social media while the family settles into life as a four.
“I’ll be quieter on here for a bit while we find our feet,” she continued.
Family games
Helena stars on Channel 4’s Gogglebox alongside her mother Alison and father George, and she shares her children with partner Dan. The couple have not yet revealed their newborn daughter’s name.
A quiet pregnancy announcement — and a very real journey

Helena first shared news of her pregnancy back in December, posting a candid photo of herself gardening with Erwin, her growing baby bump clearly visible beneath a burgundy floral dress layered with a knitted cardigan, black quilted farm jacket and a Sofia knit hood.
At the time, she joked:
“Pregnant. Tired. Raging indigestion. Still crouching down to explain why we don’t dig up all the bulbs.”
She went on to reflect on being 33 weeks pregnant while revisiting RHS Bridgwater — a place filled with memories from when Erwin was a baby.
“These in-between moments feel really precious lately — messy, slow, and very real,” she wrote.
“I’m excited, but I feel weird that Erwin will suddenly seem so big.”
Life beyond the sofa

Speaking previously to WalesOnline, Helena praised her partner Dan, describing him as “an amazing artist” who has always supported her wholeheartedly.
Away from television, Helena works as an artist at Islington Mill studios, where she focuses on sculpting and painting. Reflecting on her creative roots, she once joked:
“When I was very little, I used to draw on the walls and in my mum’s cookbooks — and then blame it on my brother. I guess that was the start of things.”

Despite being a familiar face on one of Britain’s most-watched TV shows, Helena has previously revealed she doesn’t actually own a television.
Speaking to OK! magazine at the TRIC Awards in 2023, she admitted:
“I don’t really watch telly at home — I don’t have a TV. Gogglebox is how I catch up on what’s going on.”
She added with a laugh:
“I go to my mum’s and use her electric to watch the telly. It’s a pretty good gig — you get to sit down, eat food and watch TV.”
A new chapter as Gogglebox returns
Helena joined the long-running Channel 4 series in 2017 alongside her parents, quickly becoming a fan favourite for her warmth and honesty.
The 27th series of Gogglebox is set to return at 9pm on Friday on Channel 4 — but for now, Helena’s focus is firmly at home, embracing life’s newest arrival and the slower moments that come with it.
