From Craig’s Spooky Twin Costume to the Cutest New Family Members 🐶
I know that Craig and my outfits as the twins from The Shining were more than a little unsettling on Saturday night 🤣 — the matching looks definitely raised a few eyebrows and gave some people a proper fright! So, to redress the balance and bring things firmly back into the cute and cuddly category, I thought it was time to share some much happier news.
Our family has officially grown, and in the best possible way 🐶🐶
We’ve welcomed two new puppies into our home, and they’ve already filled it with laughter, energy, and a whole lot of love.
Meet Fox and Trot 🐾✨
Two tiny bundles of curiosity and personality, who have wasted absolutely no time making themselves part of the family. From the moment they arrived, it was clear they were going to be inseparable — exploring their new surroundings together, tumbling over each other during playtime, and curling up side by side when it’s finally time to rest.
Bringing home two puppies at once is not for the faint-hearted, but it’s also incredibly special. Watching them bond, learn, and grow together is already proving to be one of the most rewarding experiences. Puppies bring a unique kind of joy — they remind you to slow down, laugh at the chaos, and appreciate the simple things, like wagging tails, muddy paws, and those irresistible puppy eyes.
It’s also amazing how quickly they’ve changed the atmosphere at home. After a weekend filled with spooky costumes and playful scares, Fox and Trot have completely shifted the mood — replacing eerie twin vibes with warmth, comfort, and endless affection. They’ve already established their own little routines, following us from room to room, investigating every corner, and collapsing into sleepy heaps after a day full of discoveries.
There’s something incredibly grounding about welcoming new life into the family, and Fox and Trot have brought with them a sense of balance, joy, and togetherness that only animals can offer 🩷 Sometimes, after a bit of mischief or madness, all you need is the unconditional love of two puppies to put everything back into perspective.
Safe to say, the balance has officially been restored — and our hearts (and sofa) now belong to Fox and Trot
